Hello everyone!
It’s been several weeks since I’ve written a blog post, and it’ll be at least another week or two until I write a true adventure post or guide. But this week I’ve decided to share some news. First I’ll be giving you a health update. My second update is a bit more exciting- and for me a bit daunting, but exciting and empowering nevertheless- and has to do with a possible future for this website. So read on if I’ve sparked your curiosity.

If you’ve been reading my posts, you’ve also been following the development and recovery process of some chronic neck and shoulder pain I developed two years ago. While it’s still somewhat unclear what has caused these injuries to develop in the first place and why they are taking so long to heal, I do of course at this point have my suspicions.

For several years I’ve slowly become aware that I have fluctuating anxiety and overwhelmedness that seems to relate to lack of self-care and quiet time along with moving too quickly through life and living too much in the future and past versus the living in the present. This anxiety over the years literally took root in my body as knots in the top of my shoulder muscle that could be hampering the healing process of the muscle injury along my shoulder blade. When this shoulder blade muscle gets aggravated it then aggravates my neck muscles- because they are all connected- and so even with different therapies and strengthening exercises, it cycles back and forth between horrible pain and bearable pain.

This chronic muscle pain was finally given a name a few months ago: Myofascial Pain Syndrome. Since the anxiety seems to have been one of the underlying causes of this I will be starting counseling. I also have really buckled down on my self to routinely and daily practice yoga with stretching and strengthening, mindfulness meditation, and calming breathing along with continuing my food nutrition research and application of a truly healthy and well rounded food lifestyle.
Hopefully through all of this “treatment” I’ll be able to avoid the next therapy suggested for this condition. If the pain doesn’t subside, and the knots don’t unknot, I’ll be doing trigger point injections to relax the muscle enough to start anew.
Either way I’ve learned to start seeing the positive in all of this because it’s truly helping me adapt more healthy living and has helped shape a Sarah I am more comfortable being. 🥰
Now on to the exciting news!

So earlier in the month- or end of October, can’t quite remember- I alluded to some exciting news, well, this is it. Now let me preface the news with this: it will be awhile before anything comes of this news but I’m excited to say that this is the beginning of hopefully a wonderful outcome someday. Have I tiptoed around it enough? 😂
Within the next year- or maybe two- I will be transitioning this blog into a business venture! The idea currently is that it will turn into a resource link platform that will highlight the products, apps, articles, recipes, and etc. of companies or blogs that can help people live a kind, mindful, and healthy life in nature and in general.
I will continue writing blog posts about outdoor adventure guides or my personal neat outdoor adventures, but will eventually transition to mainly doing recommendation articles and videos, along with the occasional outdoor adventure video and cooking while car camping video.

So there you have it! In the next year you’ll be noticing several changes happening on the website, and for all of this to work I’m going to be partially leaning on my current followers to spread the word about this venture! You all, my devoted followers of family, friends, and kind strangers, are my most dear and important marketing resource. So if you like my content spread the word! And if there’s a company or blog that has a product or content that is sustainable, environmentally friendly, and that helps you lead a healthy or kind life, let me know!
Thank you all for continuing to support me and my endeavors. See you all next week!
